AAHHHH . . . . Wish List!

We'll Christmas is long past and I already have a wish list. For the past few years I have really wanted to explore photography. Having a new baby has made this desire resurface with full force. Everyday that goes by I find myself wishing I had a camera that could do a little more justice to my darling babes! Not to mention, our camera is on the fritz lately. It seems to randomly decide to not focus and I'll think I have taken this great picture only to find when I upload it it completely blurry (ie. Sister's baby, Katie on Santa's lap . . need I go on)! Todd claims it's my inability to hold the camera still. Come on, I think, I'm not that old and feeble yet. So, the Nikon D40 is currently on the top of my list. I figure it's a great camera to break into the world of photography. If anyone has one, and has an opinion, postive or negative, please share!

Item #2 is the Hybrid Jogger/Bike Trailer. I love this because it has a handlebar that adjusts for us tall people. Not to mention, you can use it as a bike trailer as well. We have had some very nice afternoons this past week and I found myself trying to be creative with two kids and a single stroller. Joey has ended up in the snugli under my coat while Katie rides in the stroller. Another time we tried just letting her walk while Joey was in the stroller.....not a good plan. After one block her legs were "so tired mom, I can't walk any more." This puts us in a real pickle. Obviously, we have to get back home and I either have to carry her home and push a stroller, or listen to her whine the whole way home. Thus, the desire for the double stroller. Also, Todd got a new bike for Christmas and there are so many great trails nearby so it would be great to put the kids in and go!!!

Ok, so my problem here is the cost. That darn money--too bad things aren't free. And, Joey didn't get the memo to come by December 31 for the extra tax return bonus. Oh well, maybe I can go on "Are you smarter than a fifth grader" and win some money. I think I could at least make it past the second grade questions right????

My Sweet Little Valentines!

Valentine's Day was so much fun this year! Katie was really excited to make valentines for everyone. This morning we gathered balloons, streamers, candy and paper hearts and set off to find daddy's truck. After two failed attempts and a three year old in tears that her "surprise" might not work, we finally found Todd's truck. We quickly went to work and did a mighty fine "heart attack" on his truck. The only disappoint was he is at a smaller hospital right now so most of his colleages did not see it, therefore, we only achieved a small embarrassment factor.

Cutest kids on the planet. (I'm not biassed or anything)

Sweet, Sweet Baby

Joey spends so much time trying to work through the gas and projectile vomiting that I just love to see him so peacefully asleep. Reflux is a miserable thing!

Hangin' with the Fam

Well, here is the fam! We had a great get together for Jackie and Casey's birthday! Of course, we had to get the crew together for a picture. After piling the appropriate amount of books under the cameras this is what we've got! Pretty good lookin' crew if I do say so!
Todd's parents stopped in to visit Joey while coming to help with Aunt' Beth's new baby! We loved having them. We even got a smile from Grandpa Greg in this picture!

The New Cousins!

Kyle and Joey are almost exactly one month apart. It's amazing how quickly they change. Kyle's not sure how he feels about Joey using him as a pillow. They sure are cute!
And of course Katie had to have picture in between the two little guys. She is so worried when the babies cry.

New Cousin Tyler

Aunt Beth had her baby last week. Even though Joey is a month old, they're only a few ounces apart (Joey beats Tyler s little in the length). It will be so nice to have these boys for get togethers. It will definitely balance out the crazy girls someday!!!!

We Love Alta's Ski FREE after 3

Katie is quite the little ski bunny already and we finally have the picture to prove it! It won't be long before she surpasses her mother's skiing abilities (not a hard thing to do)! Todd has had lots of Friday afternoons off the last couple months so this is their father daughter bonding time. Katie loves it. As you can see she has the snow plow down!
Crazy Utah Snow!!!!
This is for ya'll who don't live in Utah. Those of us here are ready for the madness to end!!! These pictures are from my parents house--one of the hardest hit areas. As you can see the snow almost covers the light post. The neighbors 6 foot fence looks about 10 inches high. If you had snow shoes you could walk right into their yard. There have been multiple occasions where search parties have been organized to find smaller cats and dogs who get lost/stuck in the snow during their potty breaks.
