Whirlwind Weekend!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Clevenger, Bryan Clevenger that is.
We flew to Fresno, CA this last weekend to attend Todd's brother's wedding. For a quick trip we had a great time. It was a beautiful wedding and everything appeared to go smoothly from our point of view. The food was amazing which is always key!
Plus, we got to visit with the kids' great grandparents. Great grandma Bev and grandpa Clevenger. The kids enjoyed them and I think they enjoyed the kids. All in all it was a great weekend. Thanks to Todd's parents for all the help. We certainly appreciated it!

Megan and Reed

Meg,
Here's a preview of your big day. I sure had lots of fun with you two. You looked beautiful as always.
(For some reason blogger's color is weird lately. The color may look a little off, but it won't be in your real pictures. )

Moab, UT

We took an exciting weekend adventure to Moab. We thought we'd give camping a try with the whole crew. Not the best idea. Despite our lack of sleep on Friday night we had an awesome Saturday jam-packed with fun. Luckily, we stayed in a hotel on Saturday night!

On Saturday, we checked out Canyonlands. It was pretty cool because we were the only ones at each of the hikes/viewpoints. It's probably because we camped near there and were awake SOOO EARLY.
We did a little off road four wheelin' in Todd's truck. It was so much fun to make it up and down things that looked pretty impossible.
In the afternoon we took Joey on his first rafting trip. He wasn't too thrilled about the whole thing. It probably didn't help that he got totally nailed in the face on one of the rapids.
That night at dinner Katie was so tired she couldn't even eat. At first, Todd and I were a little irritated with her lack of ability to focus and eat. Then we realized she was about to fall asleep. We just kept laughing through dinner at her. By the end, she couldn't really even form words she was so tired.
Sunday, we topped off the trip with a visit to Arches and Todd took a morning bike ride on the famous bike trail, SLICKROCK.

All in all, it was an awesome trip. We were absolutely amazed how many foreigners were checking out our Utah digs. WE decided to play a game and guess how many people were not from this country before we heard them speak. We were on probably 95% of the time. We counted 33 people and only 5 were Americans. CRAZY!

Katie was so excited about making "smos" in the fire. We tried to tell her they were smores, but she definitely perfers to call them smos. So, we gave in. From now on smores are now smos in the Clevenger Fam.
