Katie and I planted PANSIES! We had so much fun with the whole process. We went by ourselves to pick out just the right ones. Then she helped me carefully lay them in their new "beds" and give them just the right amount of water. It's so fun that she was so excited about something so simple. I must admit they really made my day. It seems as though the whole world is a little brighter with some spring color! Hopefully they survive the upcoming snow storm.
On an even more exciting note...drum roll please!
We are the proud owners of a swing set courtesy of grandma and papa! Aren't they soooo great?! Katie and I have spent several weeks finding just the right one and luckily it went on sale. Now all we have to do is figure out how to put it together. We spent two hours labeling all the wood~~another thing Katie was absolutely thrilled to help with!!
When she got up from her nap she was just sure she would find her "playground" all ready for her to play with. She was extremely disappointed when she discovered it was still in its box. But, it was quickly replaced with excitement when she got to help me with the label maker labeling the wood. Hopefully, we can be speedy putting it together for her and Joey. Wish us luck!
